The Best Science Kit for Kindergarten

This post is sponsored by Timberdoodle.

This coming year for kindergarten, I plan on working through my own lesson plans with Lu and finding various resources to include. Since the best part of science is experimenting, of course I needed to find a cool science experiment kit. We are using the Show Me Science kit by Timberdoodle and it is awesome!

30 Amazing Science Experiments

With Show Me Science you get 30 STEM activities to try out. I was surprised when I saw the box at how many activities fit into this amazing little kit. They include most of the materials needed for each experiment, as well as an instruction manual to explain how to do each one. Here is everything we received in our science kit:

The Best Science Kit for Kindergarten

Wowza! So many materials to complete so many fun science experiments! What I love about these experiments is that they don’t require much beyond what’s included in the kit. Anything else needed would only be simple items like water or a plate. So easy to pick up and start experimenting!

We are looking forward to incorporating this into our various themes throughout the year. The experiments are broken into five categories to make it easy for planning! The five categories are Volcano Eruptions, Air Power in Action, Magnetism, Sprout Garden, and UV Rays.

If you’re looking for a fun way to add science to your kindergarten school year without an expensive full curriculum, I highly suggest Show Me Science! You can teach your kiddos so many fun concepts through these experiments. The concepts will stick easier as well since they’ll get their hands dirty while learning!
