Sometimes we need to get a little help for subjects our kids have a harder time wiith. For my daughter, getting her interested in math has definitely been a struggle! Lately we’ve been trying a new program from EdAlive that has been so helpful for furthering her understanding of math!
EdAlive is a subscription-based online program. It covers different subjects through a series of fun games. There are so many creative games to choose from that really keep the kids engaged!
EdAlive covers math, reading, and language arts, but we chose to focus on math. They have a specific math game series called Baggin’ The Dragon Maths Online, and it’s been a huge hit with my daughter!
Baggin’ The Dragon
The set up for the game is similar to a game board and your child can move across the board completing challenges to earn hero cards and points. Seeing those numbers and achievements stack up can be a big motivator for kids! There are over 10,000 math challenges for them to complete, so your kids are always learning and experiencing new ideas!
Another useful aspect to Baggin’ The Dragon is how adaptive it is. As your child works through the questions, future questions are based on where they seem to be developmentally. This allows for learning for 5-year-olds all the way up to 15!
We have been really enjoying the unique and fun games offered in the Baggin’ The Dragon program. It’s kept my daughter engaged in math which is amazing, and it really is fun for us to do together! If you’re looking for interactive and adaptive games to help your kiddo out with math, reading, or language arts, I definitely recommend trying out EdAlive and the programs they offer.
